To make your own free invoice, open CatInvoice, add your business and client details, enter the work and prices, check the balance and download the PDF. There is no registration, credit-card requirement or CatInvoice watermark.

Make a quick invoice from a blank document
- Open the invoice editor. Choose your layout.
- Add the sender and client. Enter your business or trading name and the customer's billing details.
- Set the reference and dates. Use a unique invoice number, an invoice date and the agreed due date.
- Enter the charges. Add a clear description, quantity and rate for each line. Select the currency and check any tax, discount or shipping charge.
- Record money already received. Enter a received deposit under amount paid and confirm the balance.
- Explain how to pay. Include the agreed method, instructions and invoice reference in the notes or terms.
- Review and download. Check the complete preview, then download the PDF or print. Attach and send the PDF yourself.

A faster way to bill a repeat client
After saving invoices in the current browser, you can reuse client and service details from stored suggestions. Review each suggestion: the contact, address or agreed rate may have changed.
You can also open Saved invoices and duplicate an existing invoice. A duplicate gets a fresh ID, the next invoice number, today's date, Draft status and no recorded payment. Check the client, descriptions, billing period, rates, due date and payment instructions before saving or exporting.
Duplicating a record starts a new invoice. It does not set up automatic recurring billing or send anything to the client.
Quick example: a fixed-price design job

Describe what the package includes or reference the agreed scope. The amount still due is $250 − $50 = $200. Add the agreed deadline and payment instructions before sending.
The final check before downloading
- Is this the right client and billing contact?
- Does the work description identify the project or billing period?
- Are the quantity, rate and currency correct?
- Have you deducted a received deposit once?
- Does the due date match the agreed payment terms?
- Can the client pay using the instructions included?
Keep your invoice available next time
CatInvoice keeps saved invoices, clients and line items in the current browser. They are not automatically synced to another device or account. Keep downloaded PDFs and export a JSON backup from Saved invoices before changing devices or clearing browser data.
The tool prepares documents. It does not collect payments, check your bank account, send automatic reminders or email the attachment for you. Update payment records yourself.

Can I make a free invoice without signing up?
Yes. Enter invoice details and download a PDF with CatInvoice without an account, subscription or credit card.
Does the PDF have a watermark?
No. CatInvoice does not add its own watermark.
Can I reuse an old invoice?
Yes. Duplicate a saved invoice and review the new number, dates, work, rates and payment information. The duplicate is a new draft with no recorded payment.
Can I open saved invoices on another device?
There is no automatic account sync. Export a JSON backup and import it in the other browser, or use your downloaded PDF.
