Templates, printing, and PDF export

Choose a design

Use the template selector above the editor to choose a built-in or installed design. Your invoice values stay in place when switching. For more designs, open the template selector and choose Browse more templates under Template marketplace. On desktop, you can also use Browse templates beside the selector. More → Install Custom Template accepts a compatible JSON template file; it does not extract invoice data from an uploaded document.

Review on desktop or mobile

Desktop shows the live invoice beside the details panel. On mobile, tap Preview, then Fit for the overview or 100% to inspect small text. Scroll across the enlarged page and return to Edit to change anything. Preview zoom does not change the PDF's A4 page size.

Download or print

Choose Download PDF, or More → Print invoice to open the browser print dialog. The PDF shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+D on Windows/Linux and Command+Shift+D on Mac. Complete any missing information shown by the editor first.

PDF output is high-resolution and image-based, not true-vector. Open the downloaded file to check long addresses, descriptions, notes, page breaks and totals before sending it. The on-screen invoice is a continuous preview; use the exported PDF or print preview to check pagination.

Email the PDF

Enter the client's email under Client and choose More → Open email draft. Attach the downloaded PDF yourself. CatInvoice neither sends the message nor attaches the file automatically.
