Logo Customization Guidelines
Adding a logo instantly elevates your invoice's authority. CatInvoice features a drag-and-drop client logo container:
- Supported Formats: JPEG, PNG, and SVG.
- How to Upload: Drag your logo directly onto the preview canvas area marked "Drag & drop logo" or click it to upload via the browser's file explorer.
- Sizing & Alignment: Once uploaded, you can resize the logo using the scale slider or click the alignment chips to align it Left, Center, or Right depending on your active template layout rules.
- Storage: Your logo is converted in-browser to a highly optimized Base64 string and saved securely into IndexedDB. No logo image is ever uploaded to CatInvoice servers.
Some premium templates dynamically adapt elements to match the general tone of your uploaded logo, providing a harmonized brand representation automatically.
How to Style & Edit Elements on the Preview Canvas
CatInvoice layouts are fully interactive. In addition to editing fields in the sidebar, you can click directly on the preview canvas to perform the following:
- Edit Section Headers: Double-click section names (e.g. "Bill To" or "Payment Instructions") to rename or translate them to your client's local language.
- Adjust Column Widths: Hover and drag margins between item descriptions, quantities, and rates to ensure long descriptions have optimal text wraps.
- Add Custom Rows: Click the `+` icons directly on the preview layout to add custom metadata tables (e.g. Purchase Order numbers, Project codes, or VAT registrations).
Changing the Style with Tabby
You can also ask Tabby to style the sheet on your behalf. Simply prompt Tabby using instructions like:
"Change my template to modern" or "I'm an interior designer, make the layout feel elegant and luxurious."
Tabby will immediately detect the style context, update the template ID matching the industry traits, and apply the styling configurations in seconds.
