No. CatInvoice opens directly to the editor. There is no account-based cloud invoice library.
Drafts, saved invoices, reusable clients, and reusable line items are stored locally in the browser on your device. They are not automatically synced to CatInvoice servers.
Export a JSON backup from Saved invoices and keep it somewhere you control. You can import that file later in another supported browser.
It means the browser blocked durable storage. The invoice is available in the current tab session but may disappear when it closes, so export a backup or PDF immediately.
Add your business or name, a client name, and at least one described line item with a quantity and rate greater than zero.
Yes. A row can have a zero value, but the invoice still needs at least one real priced row before it can be saved, printed, or exported.
Yes. It blocks negative quantities, rates, tax, discounts, shipping, and payments. It also prevents discounts or payments from exceeding the amounts they apply to.
The editor includes a broad list of currencies. Symbols and decimal places follow the selected currency, including currencies with zero or three fractional digits.
After invoices are saved, client and line-item suggestions can appear when you focus or type in the matching fields. Selecting a suggestion fills its stored details for review.
Yes. Duplicate creates a fresh copy with a new ID, the next invoice number, today’s date, Draft status, and no recorded payment.
Yes. Choose an invoice template, add your logo and business details, and include optional dates, addresses, notes, terms, payment instructions, and a payment watermark.
CatInvoice builds A4 output in the browser. Long invoices are divided into pages at sensible content boundaries, and browser printing uses print-safe row and totals rules.
No. It can open your email app with a prepared message, but you download and attach the PDF yourself. CatInvoice does not send client email from its servers.
Not through CatInvoice. It is a local-first, single-browser tool without team accounts, shared cloud records, permissions, or approval workflows.
No. CatInvoice makes and organizes invoices. It does not provide bookkeeping, expenses, bank reconciliation, payroll, tax filing, recurring billing, or payment processing.
Yes. The editor and saved-invoice library are responsive, though reviewing a detailed invoice is usually easier on a larger screen.
